The Bahamas!

This is Wednesday on the plane and Thursday on our walk around the property and then the storm in the afternoon. Dinner that night was at the Bahamian Club and Trevor and Wilford (that is not quite the name) were our captain and server. I needed a bigger brimmed hat to keep the sun off and ashop near the restaurant had the perfect hat at a perfect sale price.

Friday; We loved the lazy river ride and wanted you to see that we actually got wet in the water. We did not ride the water slide down throughthe aquarium, and yes, that is about a 15 foot shark laying on the tube of the water slid. Then we actually sat on the lounge chairs long enough to
have our pictures taken. When it started to thunder we decided to get a move on up to the room but stopped long enough to have someone snap the two wonderful pictures of us in our chic beach attire. The sting rays just fascinated dad and he snapped pictures of them every day.

Saturday; We took a long walk along the beach and actually walked in the water. As we were coming back they were feeding the rays and sharks and Dad was fascinated. The picture doesn't do it justice as the water is just rolling with fish when this guy sticks his hand in the water. The big rays were again a fascination for Dad. For the afternoon we took a walk around the harbor and looked at the yaughts. It is about 2 miles of beautiful and very expensive boats. These condimineums are on the shore opposite the Atlantis, they are part of the property but are on the opposite shore. It was a long walk. Dinner was at Casa de Angelo's and the Captain was Marcus. The food was very good both nights. The Pharroh's throne was appropriate for a last picture.
