Utah Remembers: Highway 89 South Weber Bridge

Saturday afternoon Dad came running in the house telling me to get in the car, he had something to show me.

You just come down the hill from Layton and all of a sudden you see this and it takes a minute for you to realize what you are seeing.

The fire trucks are from So. Weber and Layton City and so are the firemen.  Look at the size of the flag in proportion to the firemen, it is huge!
We got off the road and watched a while with several other people and the flag slipped one of its corner holders so they had to lower the truck extensions to hook it back up.  We understood the 9/11 idea but wondered why all the show.
About 2:55 we could see the flashing red lights and miles of head lights.  Over 1000 bikers about 2-3 miles long with police escort was riding in support of 9-11.  It lasted about 15 minutes.
This is them as the passed under the bridge going North.
It was quiet fabulous!
Apparently they started in Sandy at the "Healing Field" and road to Ogden.
Utah Remembered!
