What a week!!!

Whew have we had a busy week!  Monday we packed and prepared for the coming week.  Tuesday was Zone conference in Florida, Orlando until 4 pm. Great conference! President Hall gave an idea about a gospel principle that I had never thought of and in another post I will share it with you.  Needless to say, it was an Aha moment for me.

Then onto Jacksonville, FL for a conference call with a Spanish speaking parent about their missionary.  Since dad speaks no Spanish and the Pres. and his wife (who is the Med. Coordinator) speak no Spanish they had to get the Mission Councilor involved so he could translate.  He called on Monday evening so he could get the names of medications and tests looked up and ready to go for Tuesday.  Anyway that took about an hour and then we took the Barry's out to dinner.  While we were on the freeway to Jacksonville I drove up next to this truck.  Nearly had an accident trying to get dad to take a picture of this.  Yes a truck, but wait until you see that sign.

And if you can't see it very well it says NUISANCE ALLIGATOR TRAPPER  Florida Department of Wild Life yada, yada, yada.

I thought ALL alligators fell into the nuisance category!

The rest of the week was a blur as we traveled all day on Wed. (see my FB page.).  We crossed  The Atchafalaya Basin Bridge, 18 mile of the most amazing landscape.  The pictures on  Wikipedia are just wonderful but can't possibly give you the feeling of being on the bridge.

Thursday and Friday were zone conferences with the LA Baton Rouge mission at Lafayette and Alexandria.  They were held in the afternoon so that they could go from ZC right into a meeting with the Stakes on member missionary work.  Yes, we were tired!
