So It Has Begun! Monday, 16 July 2012

Yesterday we were set apart by our Stake President, Thomas Beard. Most interesting blessings given to both of us.  Notice the black badges, we are now officially known and Elder & Sister Cates Rose.  Now that was a Freudian slip if there ever was one, since it has been some 43 years since that was my title and nearly 39 since it changed to Rose.  Weird!!

We have spent the last four months moving out of our house (maybe I will inflict a post on y'all about that at some later date) but by the end of June our house was sold and we were living with kids in Minn. and So Cal.  We returned home to Utah on July 11th and took up residence in the Layton Fairfield Inn.  Dr's appointment on Thursday and then to Maureen Ludlow's to pick up the "stuff" we had dumped at her place while we went traveling.  By Saturday we were pared down to just what we "felt" we couldn't do without and it is a good thing we are able to travel by car to our mission because as you can see we don't fit into 2 suitcases apiece and a couple of carry on's.

Quite a bit of this went to the storage at Anna's.  Thank goodness for her kindness in letting us store things there
If you can believe it the jewelry box fits in the back and we hung our clothes on a rod so we each only have two suitcases.  Yea!!!
















We were able to get it all in the car if you believe it.
 I am so clean and organized!  LOL


Well by the next post we will have been at the MTC one whole day.
